The list of the three magical towns to live the seafront experience is headed by Isla Mujeres, followed by Sayulita in the Riviera Nayarit and Mazunte in Oaxaca.

At the same event, Puerto Balleto was awarded as an emerging Magical Beach Town. This charming town is located on María Madre Island, the largest of the Marías Islands archipelago, and the recognition was given to the Secretary of Tourism of Nayarit.

It should be noted that it is the first time that a municipal president receives an award at a tourist market; the Secretary of Tourism or the Governor of Nayarit always received it.
