About Clinton Coddington

Biography in English

Once upon a time, I was an attorney in both Idaho and California, where I specialized in real estate transactions and litigation while living at my desk for the majority of my days.  After undergoing bypass surgery at age 39, my wife and I decided to permanently relocate to the Riviera Nayarit. In January of 2014, we sold our house and loaded up our family for the move south to what would hopefully lead to a more tranquil life.

After developing a surf wax formula and operating my own company for a number of years, I happened into real estate when my wife and I started purchasing property to take advantage of the economic development occurring in the area. Through the processes of purchase, demolition, remodeling and new construction, we learned invaluable lessons about how things get done in Mexico where properties are concerned and realized that other people could benefit from the lessons learned. For the past five years, I have specialized in real estate between La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and San Pancho, including commercial and residential properties as well as bare land. I also continue to practice law in California, so I have a detailed understanding of contracts, cross-border business and lifestyle considerations, and the legal hurdles that both buyers and sellers may encounter before, during, and after a real estate transaction.
